I have a sony KDF-E50A10 tv and the power/standby lite blinks 45 times then tv comes on mabe 20 sec then does it again and again......... any help out there

When your TV comes ON after the 45 blinks, does it show any picture? does it have audio?

Yes I have both for about 30 seconds then back to blinking green power/standby

Do you get any type of clicking noises?, if not, then it could be a bad bulb and you would need to replace it.

Well, if it was a bad bulb it wouldn't turn on at all, so I don't think that's the problem. However if there is any clicking noise the problem could be a week ballast, as yomutsu proposed, but it would be weird that this ballast take the exactly same amount of time to ignite the lamp (45 blinks).

I'll search for the 45 blinks code and post if I find something.
